Urban Artists Collective Open House

Come by on October 1st to 7 Kent Place and have a piece of birthday cake, enjoy a potluck and clothing swap, and meet the members of the new Urban Artisis Collective! From 2pm till 6pm we’ll be touring the house ( there’s still two rooms available in the Urban Artists Intentional community), socializing and learning more about how we can support each others projects. Meetings will be every Sunday from 6 til 9 pm starting Oct. 9th. 7 Kent Place Asheville,NC 28804. Artists, Activists, Healers and Permaculturalists welcome …. and anyone who wants to join in the fun!

Urban Artists Intentional Community & Collective is Forming!

Wow! The response to my FB announcement has been great! Three rooms at the Haw Creek Urban Artists location have been rented, but there are still two left at North Asheville. Contact pujaeyes@gmail.com if you are interested in the living situation but you dont have to live at one of the locations to participate in the Collective.
October 1st is Open House/Potluck/Clothing Swap ( also my birthday!). Come by and see the dance and recording studios, get interviewed for a Puja Eyes Medicine Show Podcast, and dig around for some new/old clothes while you eat a piece of birthday cake ….. anytime after 2 pm at 7 Kent Place.
October 9th (Sunday) from 6 til 9 pm is the first Community & Collective meeting at 7 Kent Place. Come tell us what your next great artistic project is and get support! We will have weekly meetings on Sunday nights from 6 til 9 pm.
Haloween (Samhain) October 31st , (Monday) is our first Urban Artist Critical Response Salon. A mediated response to your works in progress will be facilitated by members of the collective trained in The Critical Response Method,  developed by The Liz Lherman Dance Company.

Thanks to help from dear John Neprund, sculptor, welder and cool-old-school-hippy-biker-can-fix-or-drive-anything man, Puja Eyes is shopping for a schoolbus to deck out for our tour! Without Johns encouragement, advice and support, I would be lost gypsy in the wilderness….
